I’m very excited to announce the official release of our new single Revolution. March 30th is a very important date for us as it marks the beginning of Occupy’s Spring campaign. We live in a brave new world, and it’s my sincere hope that through education, the viral spread of real time information, and peaceful protest our governing branches can be reborn as honest, respectable institutions that truly serve the interests of the people.

Revolution lyrics
corporate tied prosperity
destabilize economies
when patriots act secretly
we’ve got homeland security
please sound the alarm
please sound the alarm
please sound the
oil spills, tsunami’s
the laughter of those rich cronies
when millions strong take to the streets
will they keep that information free? oh no
please sound the alarm
please sound the alarm
please sound the
the revolution will not be televised

So… I read this Black Keys interview in Rolling Stone… and I like the Black Keys, maybe even a lot, but I’m kind of disappointed at how they are blaming “the death of rock & roll” (which obviously isn’t dead) on Nickelback. I say disappointed because, who cares. Genres come and go over the coarse of time. Just because there aren’t a million other bands like the Black Keys touring actively right now that doesn’t mean that they are irrelevant or anything like that. Music is music. If people are happily buying a particular band/DJ, what’s wrong with that? Good for them. Right?
I’ve been stewing on this for awhile, so I’ve decided I’m going to listen to some Nickelback and find out why people hate them so much. I haven’t listened to terrestrial radio for years, (instead I’ve been subscribing to Napster and now Rhapsody) so I just listen to albums I’ve been recommended through friends. Meanwhile I know that the hatred is so hot and heavy I risk significant ridicule for this endeavor (my Rhapsody account is linked to my Facebook account) and I know that all of my friends just might see that I’ve been listening to the cursed band myself and lay down similar judgement upon me. Oh well. Here goes.
Check out this brand new track from my friend John Carpenter. It’s really amazing. Also this track was produced and engineered by our producer Erock, you can book him or one of his studios through here: http://zombeat.tv/
Oh shiiiiittt. MIA is a bad ass bitch. I never heard this track before a few moments ago. Super into it. Super into her. I love seeing more of culture’s from other parts of the world. What a great video.
I just can’t stop listening to this amazing mash-up of La Roux’s In For the Kill and The Glitch Mob’s Bad Wings. This is really good shit.
Holy shit. This is AMAZING music. The video is very rad too! Mouse on the Keys!! Enjoy!
